Thames Water tenders £762 million+ AMP7 waste network services contract

Thames Water has gone out to tender with a major wide-ranging AMP7 waste network services contract worth an estimated £762.4 million in total.

THAMES WATER GENERIC

Scope of the contract for the delivery of the water company’s waste network services include:

  • maintenance (reactive activity e.g. clearing blockages)
  • civils work
  • delivery of rehabilitation works to the waste network
  • rodent control services

 

Thames Water will be testing two options for maintenance via the following lotting structure:

Lot 1: Maintenance (sole supplier)

Lot 2: Maintenance (regional suppliers)

Lot 3: Lining

Lot 4: Civils

Lot 5: High value and complex civils (multi- supplier framework)

Lot 6: Rodent control services

Thames will also investigate the following requirements for future ducting and fibres:

Delivery of ancillary sewer services related to networks, cables, pipework and/ or ducting for the purposes of, but not limited to telecoms/ data services, power and heat.

The contracts will be awarded either as single Lots or combinations of Lots.

Initial contract terms will be 5 years with further options to extend annually into AMP8 up to a maximum overall term of 8 years..
